FAQs
When are your inflatables available?
Our Bouncy Castles and Hot tubs are available seven days a week, all year round 365 Days.
How do I book?
You can book by filling out our online booking form.
How much notice do I need to give to book?
It's best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If another company lets you down on the day of hire, you can try booking last minute and if we have anything available we'll do our best to hire to you.
Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the bouncy castles / spas?
Yes, it's all included in the price. Outside the 10 mile radius there will be a nominal delivery charge.
How safe are your inflatables and spas?
To us, safety is paramount. All of our units are of commercial quality, tested annually and conform to strict industry guidelines. We are one of the few companies in Gwent accredited to the P.I.P.A scheme and are members of the BIHA (British Inflatable Hirers Association)
All of our equipment is hygienically cleaned, regularly serviced and comply with UK Health & Safety regulations. All electrics are PAT tested.
We don't hurry when setting up - all points are pegged down, cables stowed away to minimise trip hazards and enough safety mats supplied to cater for any unexpected tumbles. A full briefing is also given to ensure you are completely at ease should any unlikely problems arise.
How long does it take to set up?
Setting up and dismantling takes about 30 mins, sometimes quicker depending on the ease of access to the site. We will answer any questions and give you a full description of how to use the castle/spa safely and how to combat any problems (in the unlikely event that they do arise).
You will also have to read and sign a hire agreement indicating that you fully understand your responsibilities whilst the hire unit is in your care. E.g. Full supervision, no acrobatics, number of children recommended on the inflatable at any one-time, age limits etc.
How long do I get the castle / spa for?
You can order the unit for a few hours or you can keep it all day, the price remains the same, at the daily rate. The reason for this is because the work load for us is the same. Evening and overnight hire can sometimes be arranged at additional cost as long as there is adequate lighting. The spa will be delivered the day previous to hire to allow time for optimum heating.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A £10 deposit will secure your booking, the balance is to be made on delivery, cash only, cheques can be sent, but must be cleared before date of hire.
All payments in connection with the hire are to be made at the time of delivery. However if the Bouncy Castle or Spa is overly dirty there will be a £30 charge added on collection of the castle/spa.
What preparation is needed before you arrive?
Please ensure that paths and access to the site is free of obstacles. Please remove any overhanging branches, clothing lines, clean up dog mess etc. before our arrival. We will also need access to a suitable electricity power point.
What sort of surface do you need for the castle/spa?
Castles situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess etc. Please let us know at the time of booking if the ground is hard standing such as a patio area or concrete so we can take extra measures as not to damage the unit and provide more safety mats and provide sandbags to secure the unit where pegs cannot be used. Spas need to be situated on a solid flat and level surface strong enough to take the weight of the tub once full of water and 5-6 people.
If you are unsure we can visit the site to assess its suitability, we do this free of charge.
How is the inflatable secured to the ground?
Pegs are usually used to secure the inflatable - however if on a hard surface such as concrete then sandbags can be used. Please advise us if this is the case. If in doubt about the set up area then please contact us.
What about indoors?
All of our units are suitable for indoor hire (height pending). We use sandbags to secure the unit in this case.
What happens if it rains on the day of a hire?
Most of our inflatables come with rain covers (only suitable for light rain) but if you decide to cancel due to bad weather on day of hire, then please let us know as soon as possible, preferably before 9am on day of the hire. Cancellations for bad weather is determined by the company. It may also be necessary for us to cancel for safety reasons in extreme weather conditions - safety is paramount - such as relentless rain or high winds. We will always supply a castle wherever possible. Unfortunately deposits are non refundable.
What happens if it rains during a hire?
All of our units are operated with RCD circuit breakers fitted to the fans, and also have weatherproof connectors for external use (the plug to the mains must be indoors). Most of our castles come with shower covers, but it is recommended that you stop use if the rain becomes heavy, as the castle can become slippery when wet. This can be dried with a towel. The spa is fine to use in any weather except during lightening when we advise you not to use.
How do the inflatables / spas operate?
All of our units run on electric fans. The blowers must be kept switched on at all times the castle is on hire. Failure to do this will result in the castle deflating. The spa runs on electric, we will require access to a socket.
How many children are allowed on the inflatable at a time?
It all depends on the age and size of the children and what they are doing. Some are more boisterous than others. As a general rule there should be enough space for each child to jump safely with enough room as not to bounce into others or fall off the unit itself. A responsible adult should always supervise and common sense must prevail.
What happens if a problem arises during the hire period?
It is very rare that a problem arises that cannot be dealt with by the hirer. But in the unlikely event one should arise, please feel free to contact us at any time and we'll be round A.S.A.P to sort it out.
Can you provide supervision for the duration of hire?
Yes, for an extra charge, we can provide a supervisor to manage the inflatable for the hire term. Contact us for details.
What happens if you don't turn up?
We have never let any of our customers down. A short phone call the day before your hire date confirming your details gives you the opportunity to check agreed details. We do get calls from people that have been let down by other hirers due to mistaken function dates and double bookings.
If your inflatable has not arrived by the time we agreed, please telephone us on the company mobile 07594 006931
Obviously like everyone else we are susceptible to events beyond our control like traffic delays & accidents (even if we are not directly involved) but thankfully we have never been affected to any degree with these issues.
PLEASE NOTE:
Adults are not allowed on the children’s' inflatables. Nor are pets, silly string, face paints, party poppers, food stuffs of any kind, or chewing gum. Any loss or damage caused to any of the equipment whilst in your care shall be charged accordingly.
